Michael Aaron Martin

Michael Aaron Martin, 39, of Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Hershey, PA on July 9, 1976 to the late Stephen Martin and Marie Martin.
Michael was a graduate of Big Spring High School and worked at the Center for Industrial Training as a dock worker. He was an honorary associate member of the Carlisle Vietnam Veterans. He loved auto racing and NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, Jr. He also liked watching local men's softball league games.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Marie Smith of Perry County; aunts, Susan Peffley, Sharon Lingle, Patricia Kissinger, Joann Witmer, Gail Hare and Karen Pepperman; an uncle, Kenneth Martin; step-mother, Lynda Martin of Newport; a step-brother, Cole; a step-sister, Kara Stahl; caretakers, Terry (and his wife Dotty) Naugle of Carlisle and their children, Jonathan Naugle and Teah Hertzler.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 N. Hanover St. Carlisle with Rev. Joseph Kugle officiating. Burial will be held privately at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
