Maxine C. "Max" Gilmore

Maxine C. "Max" Gilmore, age 63, of Carlisle, passed away, Thursday, November 4, 2016 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center with her loving family by her side.
She was born November 1, 1953 in Liberty, NY to Zannie (Roberts) Gilmore of Dry Run, PA and the late Earnest D. Gilmore.
Maxine received an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development from HACC. She was a Nanny for some local families and most recently her Camp Hill family. She had a great love for all types of animals. Her family was very important to her, most especially her loving companion of 25 years, Adam.
In addition to her mother, Maxine is survived by her brother, Zane D. (and wife Kim) Gilmore of Blairs Mills, PA; her companion, Adam W. Gill of Carlisle; a niece, Jessica Coldsmith; a nephew, Michael Gilmore; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. There will be a visitation from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the services.
