Mary E. Anderson

Mary E. Anderson, age 86, formerly of Carlisle, died Monday June 25, 2018 at Cumberland Crossings with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Mechanicsburg, PA on May 3, 1932 to the late John Frederick and Mary Elizabeth (Shuler) Brewbaker and was the widow of the late Albert C. Anderson who passed February 14, 1997.
Mary was a former cake decorator at the Weis grocery store in Carlisle and retired in 1997. Mary enjoyed shopping, square dancing, bingo, baking holiday cookies, and visiting the casinos. But most of all, she loved to travel, and the time she spent with her loving family.
She is survived by two sons: Richard E. (wife Linda) Anderson of Carlisle, Dennis L. (wife Terry) Anderson of Newville; two daughters, Nancy A. (husband Tom) Wise of Mt. Holly Springs, Cheryl E. Braught and companion Russell Cramer of Reading, PA; one sister, Beatrice Minnich of Mechanicsburg; eight grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert L. Anderson, three brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, June 29, 2018 at First United Church of Christ, 30 N. Pitt St., Carlisle, PA with the Rev. Chris Schwab officiating. Interment will be in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing Friday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
