Martha M. Spencer

Martha M. “Marti” Spencer, age 80 of Carlisle, passed away January 19, 2021 at Forest Park Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born September 20, 1940 in Lower Frankford Twp., daughter of the late Carl Maynard and Miriam Althea (Waggoner) Jumper.
Marti retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She was a former member of the Bethel Assembly of God where she was a member of the Nifty 50’s Choir.
She is survived by her daughters, Sally W. Ritter, Carlisle and Dianna L. Skivington, Mount Joy; son, Jeffrey I. Spencer, Philadelphia; grandchildren, Sara (Gary II) Glessner, Shippensburg and Robert Carper II, Carlisle and great-grandchildren Kain, Xaden, Tatiana and Maximus Glessner and Corina Spencer. She is also survived by her brother, Mervin M. (June) Jumper, Perry County.
Marti was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Baby Girl Wilfong; brother Carl E. “Jim” Jumper and sisters, Geraldine L. “Sis” Seburn and Shirley Corman.
At Marti’s request, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held Friday February 12, 2021 at 10am at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd Carlisle.
