Martha Lou Neidigh

Martha Lou Neidigh, 78, of Carlisle, died Monday, July 29, 2013 at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born February 22, 1935 in McConnellsburg, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Nettie Mellott Boisvert and the widow of Fred Neidigh.
She retired from Bedford Shoe after thirty-five years of service. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene for almost fifty years, where she serviced as a Sunday School teacher. She loved her family and was very devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and enjoyed getting together with them. She loved flowers, baking, cooking, and canning. She will be missed greatly by her family.
Surviving are two sons, Dan Mellott (and wife, Pam) of Newville and Fred Neidigh (and wife, Wendy) of Carlisle; three daughters, Linda Bupp (and husband, Larry) of Newville, Robin Garman (and husband, Denny Naugle) of Carlisle, and Freda Neidigh (and late husband, Rick Bailey) of Newville; one brother, Melvin Mellott of Gardners; two sisters, Flo Gutshall of Carlisle and Regina Mains of Shippensburg; one step-brother, Paul Mowers; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Boyd Mellott.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Jeffrey Wolf officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the funeral home.
