Marlin Lee Bloser

September 16, 1922 — June 22, 2013

Marlin Lee Bloser, 90, of Carlisle, found eternal peace Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Cumberland Crossings Retirement Community, Carlisle.
Born September 16, 1922 in Newville, he was a son of the late Pash and Lila Boyles Bloser and the widower of Dorothy Hoover Bloser.
He was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle, where he was a member of the church council, and served as an usher and greeter. Marlin was a long-time farmer in Cumberland County and loved his German Shepherds.
Surviving are two sons, Steven Bloser (and wife, Marty) of Carlisle and Tommy Bloser (and wife, Cindy) of Carlisle; four grandchildren, Adam Bloser, Jamie Darhower (and husband, Chris), Joshua Bloser, and Aaron Bloser; and one great-granddaughter, Jordynn Darhower. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Elaine Bloser; five siblings, Raymond, E. Deemer, Sarah, Robert, and Ruth; and one grandson, Benjamin Pash Bloser.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 1, 2013 at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Highway, Carlisle with Rev. Charles A. Brophy officiating.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
