Marjorie Mohler

Marjorie Reid Mohler, 91, of Newville died, Sunday, May 13, 2012 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Wayne F. Mohler.
Born March 4, 1921 in Gapland, MD she was a daughter of the late Daniel Maurice and Grace Kaetzel Reid.
She was a member of Newville Church of the Brethren where she was a Deacon and Sunday School teacher. Marjorie loved to cook and work in her garden. She made her family her life!
Surviving are one son, Jerre W. Mohler (and wife, Kathy) of Trout Run, one daughter, Sharon Lightner (and husband, Charles) of Newville, four grandchildren, Jeramy Mohler of Williamsport, Ryland Mohler (and significant other, Jenny Waldman) of Williamsport, Lauren Lightner of Carlisle and Christopher Lightner (and wife Kristi) of Carlisle, one great-granddaughter, Keaton Mohler of Williamsport; and one brother, D. Wayne Reid of Carlisle. She was preceded in death also by seven brothers and one sister.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Newville Church of the Brethren, 16 Carlisle Road, Newville with Pastor John F. Hess officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
