Marjorie L. Rumpf

Marjorie L. Rumpf, 83, of Carlisle, died Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle.
Born November 28, 1927 in Trenton, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Frederick H. and Celia Lydia Sophers Wolf.
Marjorie was a registered nurse who worked as a public health nurse for Cumberland County and also as a school nurse for the Carlisle School District working in North and South Dickinson Elementary Schools. She was raised in Nashville, TN and received her BSN at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, Carlisle.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Robert Rumpf of Carlisle; three children, Becky Moyer (and husband, Gordon) of Jonestown, Frederick H. Rumpf (and wife, Nancy) of Billerica, MA and Thomas A. Rumpf (and wife, Sue) of Chalfont; five grandchildren, Hannah, Nathan, Stephen, Sarah and Mattisan; two great-grandchldren, Delaney and Zoie Moyer and one brother Lyle Wolf of Lexington, KY.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 12, 2011 at Second Presbyterian Church, 528 Garland Drive, Carlisle with Rev. Jennifer J. McKenna and Rev. Jeffrey W. Gibelius officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle at the convenience of the family.
