Marjorie A. "Mermie" Weary

Marjorie A. “Mermie” Weary, age 89, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022, surrounded by her family who love and adored her. She was born in Carlisle on March 23,1933.

Mermie touched many lives and was loved by all who knew her. She worked at The old Texas Restaurant, Woolworths, Pezo Crystal Plant, GS Electric and Bethel Pre-School & Day Care. Mermie was a Congregant of Bethel Assembly of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Eugene Weary, Mother, Eva A. Markley, Father, Floyd B. Minnich, and Brother: Levi Minnich

Mermie is survived by her children Floyd & Wife Elaine (who is deceased) of Gardners, Carol (McClintock) Hurley & Husband Mike of Carlisle, Richard & Deb McClintock of Mechanicsburg, Trudy (McClintock) McCauslin & husband Terry of Carlisle and wonderful Ex-Daughter-in-law Cathy Shoemaker of Carlisle. She is also survived by grandchildren Jennifer, Cori, Jason, Justin, Brandy, Shaun, Floyd Jr, Catrina and Athena. Also survived by many step grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, many step great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle, PA 17013. Viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00AM until service time. Interment to follow service at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
