Marie Annette Sanderson

Marie Annette Sanderson, age 84, of Carlisle, PA passed away at home on Friday, September 15, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Carlisle on September 10, 1939, to the late Brinton and Ruth (Fry) Forney.

Marie loved animals and enjoyed reading, bus trips, music, opera, and word search puzzles.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years Francis L. Sanderson; son Kevin M. Sanderson and his wife Kimberly of Newville, PA; daughter Deidre M. Denhartog and her husband Gerard of Chambersburg, PA and grandsons John Denhartog, Toby Sanderson, London Sanderson, Tristan Sanderson, and Christopher Rakers. Marie is also survived by her beloved cat Mrs. B.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA 17013. Interment will be in Westminster Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM until service.
