Margie M. Bair

Margie M. Bair, age 90, of Carlisle, PA, passed away at Chapel Pointe in Carlisle on Thursday, December 7, 2023. She was born in Carlisle on October 1, 1933 to the late Merle and Lillian (Zimmerman) McCoy.

Margie had worked as a hostess for the former Rillo's Restaurant in Carlisle and previously worked as a receptionist in Carlisle at the medical office of the late Dr. McCullough and was a member of the Carlisle First Church of God. Margie enjoyed gardening and most especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Terry L. Bair and his wife Carolyn; grandchildren Daniel Bair, Heather Kuffa and her husband Kevin, and Melanie Howard and her husband Jeremiah, and great grandchildren Ryan and Hunter Kuffa and Colin and Isaac Bair. Margie is also survived by sisters Mary Ellen Boyd, Janice Flury and Norma Miller and daughter-in-law Tash Kelley. In addition to her late parents, Margie was preceded in death by her son Kurt Bair and brothers Marlin, Gerald and Merle McCoy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle, PA 17013. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:30 AM until service time. Interment will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Margie may be made to the American Cancer Society, 134 Sipe Avenue, Hershey, PA 17036, www.cancer.org.
