Margaret W. "Peggy" (Giles) Wilson

Margaret W. “Peggy” (Giles) Wilson, 92, of Boiling Springs, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019 in her home while surrounded by her loving children.
She was born August 1, 1926 in Shippensburg to the late John and Bessie (Bowen) Angle and she was the widow of both Harry C. Giles and C. Robert Wilson.
Peggy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. After her graduation from Shippensburg High School, she went to work for Letterkenny Army Depot. She later worked as a secretary for South Middleton School District for 10 years and eventually retired from the Naval Supply Depot in 1993. Peggy was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Carlisle AARP #4377 and NARFE #373. She was also the eldest living member and past president of VFW Post #8851 Ladies Auxiliary.
Margaret is survived by her three children, Gregory (wife Charity) Giles of Boiling Springs, Jacalyn (husband Barry) Shearer of Boiling Springs, and Margaret “Peggy” (husband Edward) Steigleman of Gardners; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her spouses, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Eber Angle; and three sisters, Martha Russell, Virginia Stouffer, and Elizabeth Stinger.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Otterbein United Methodist Church with Rev. Joseph Kugle officiating. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church.
