Mahmoud Audi

Dr. Mahmoud S. Audi, 79, of Hershey, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 with his loving family by his side.
He was born on December 9, 1939 in Az Zeeb, Palestine to the late Salim Audi and Jamilah Haj Ibrahim.
Mahmoud worked as a Consultant Engineer from the Philadelphia area, and retired as a Professor of Engineering from Penn State University. Mahmoud was well known for prolific writing and publication of scholarly articles. In retirement, Mahmoud enjoyed ballroom dancing, and took pleasure in a good debate.
Mahmoud is survived by: three sons, Osama M. Audi of Dubai, Ali M. Audi of Hershey, PA, Salim Audi of Dallas, TX; three daughters, Salma Audi of London, England, Buthna Audi of Dubai, Nour Audi of Middletown, CT; two brothers, five sisters, and nine grandchildren.
Islamic Burial Services were held on Monday, November 25, 2019 at the Islamic Center Masjid Al Sabereen. Interment followed at the Shellsville Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle, PA.
