Maealma H. "Mazie" Armolt, 86, of Carlisle died Friday, November 8, 2013 at Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.
Born April 23, 1927, in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Bert L. and Mildred Campbell Woodward and the widow of Leroy A. Armolt.
She was a former waitress from the All American Truck Stop and retired from the former P. R. Hoffmans Crystal Company. Mazie was a former vice president of the Turnpike Ramblers in the 1970's. She enjoyed listening to country music.
Surviving are two daughters –in-law, Darlene Armolt of Carlisle and Theresa Armolt of Shippensburg; one son-in-law, Barry L. Starner of Gardners; two sisters, Linda Wilson and Jean Smith, both of Carlisle; ten grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons: Roger Allen Armolt and Gary Armolt; one daughter, Deborah C. Starner; and one brother, Jack Woodward.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Daniel L. Dennis officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
