Mae B. Zeigler

Mae B. Zeigler, age 89, of Shermans Dale, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
She was born on January 4, 1926 to the late George A. and Esther Elizabeth Killinger Barrick and was the widow of the late Elmer Wesley Zeigler who passed on February 25, 1998.
Mae graduated from Boiling Springs High School. She retired from Reeves Hoffman as a Lab Tech and was a member of Young's United Methodist Church in Shermans Dale. She loved her garden and her flowers and she loved to just putter around.
She is survived by her son, Wesley E. (and wife Jody) Zeigler of Shermans Dale; two daughters, Joyce E. Durham and Roxanne E. (and husband David) Knight, all of Shermans Dale; sisters, Louise (and husband Jim) Lindsay of Carlisle, Pearl I. (and husband Maynard) McCullough of Newville, Faye (and husband Dale) Wiser of Newville and Edith Morrison of Carlisle; brothers, Larry (and wife Darlene) Barrick, Sr. of Boiling Springs, Harold (and wife Faye) Barrick of Carlisle and Lee (and wife Stella) Barrick of Carlisle; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Mary McClintock; sister, Romaine Throne; and brothers, William Barrick and Robert Barrick.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Nancy Groff officiating. Burial will be at Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
