Mabel K. Lebo

Mabel K. Lebo, 97, of Carlisle, died Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the home of her son, Dennis with whom she lived.
Born May 27, 1916 in Monroe Township, PA, a daughter of the late Jacob G. & Minnie Ruhl Wickard and the widow of Charles L. Lebo who died March 15, 1973.
She was a former owner of The "LIL" Donut Shop, Carlisle; formerly worked at Carlisle Food Market which is Giant Foods; she worked for B. S. P. Foods, Boiling Springs; Punt & Lindsey Grocer Store; Communion Cup Book and Gift Shop and Word and Song Book Store, both of Carlisle. She was interested in bowling, time spent with friends and family. She also enjoyed Labor Day week bus trips to Wildwood, NJ. She was a faithful reader of her Bible.
Surviving are two sons, Charles L. "Butch" Lebo, Jr. (and wife, Jacqueline) and Dennis E. Lebo (and wife, Joy) both of Carlisle; twelve grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Barry "Cy" Lebo; one brother, Raymond C. Wickard; one sister, Edna Evelhoch; one grandson, Caleb Joel Lebo; and one great-grandson, William Stephen Lebo.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. James E. Van Zandt and Rev. David J. Fidati officiating. Burial will be in Letort Cemetery, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
