M. Cathryn B. Pearce

M. Cathryn B. Pearce, 92, of Carlisle, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle.
Born April 7, 1919 in Centerburg, OH, she was a daughter of the late Jay M. and Mildred H. Kees Bell.
Cathryn was a 1937 graduate of Centerburg High School, OH. She moved from Ohio to Long Beach, CA, then to Louisiana, where she worked for an engineering firm and finally made her way back to Ohio to the family farm she loved so much. Cathryn will always be remembered as a hard worker. In her retirement she enjoyed her grandchildren, loved animals, especially watching birds and a good laugh.
Surviving are one son, Bill Pearce (and wife, Melissa Waugh) of Kansas City, MO; one daughter, Mary L. Brunski (and husband, Paul) of Mt. Holly Springs, PA; two granddaughters, Sibylle C. Pearce of Kent, England, and Sarah A. Brunski of Mt. Holly Springs; and one grandson, Peter W. Brunski of Mt. Holly Springs. She was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Perkins.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
