Lydia Ann Salisbury passed away February 28, 2013 at the age of 82, she was the widow of Edgar “Samâ€Â Salisbury who passed away December 3, 2011. She was born December 29, 1930 in Caldwell, KS, the daughter of Edward and Agnes (Jenesta) Nulik.
Lydia graduated from Caldwell High School and St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Wichita, KS.
She was employed at St. Francis Hospital, Carlisle Hospital, the office of Dr. Paul Cox, and the Church of God Home until retirement in 1994. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon.
Surviving are a son, Michael R. Salisbury, (wife Janice) and their daughter, Alyson Horne (husband Nate); son Wesley A. Salisbury (wife Tara), daughter Debra Paulson (husband John), their daughters Julia Lopez (husband Edwin) and Janice Paulson. She was preceded in death by sisters, Gladys Metz, Algie Smrika, Edna Krenik, and Lorraine Folglemen; brothers, Edward, Carl, and Joe Nulik.
Graveside services will be held privately at the convenience of the family at Meeting House Springs Cemetery.
