Louise Jost

Louise Jost, 89, formerly of Philadelphia, died Sunday, July 28, 2013 in the Sarah Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.
Born on July 23, 1924 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the youngest daughter of the late John and Barbara Heine Jost.
She attended the School System of Philadelphia. She retired from Penn Fishing Reel, Philadelphia and also worked for Northtec, Bensalem.
Surviving are a niece, Barbara L. Bookwalter (Ronald), Carlisle; and a nephew, Col. John J. Rankin (Christine), Norfolk, VA. Also surviving are three grandniece and nephews, Scott (Jenny) Bookwalter, -Lutherville-Timonium, MD; Todd (Diane) Bookwalter, Cranberry Twp., PA and Barbie Bookwalter, Glenmoore, PA. Her beloved great-grandnieces are Katelyn, Juliana and Allison. Corky, her faithful companion, was always at her side. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Rose Weisz, Anna Rankin and Julia Jost.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, August 2, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with the Rev. Noreen Mench officiating. Burial will be at Greenmount Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
