Louis J. Pinto, 76, of Carlisle and Ocean City, NJ, formerly of Drexel Hill, died May 5, 2013 at M. S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born June 12, 1936 in Drexel Hill, he was a son of the late Louis J. and Florence Leonard Pinto.
He earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University. Louis was employed by GE, Regina Corporation, G. S. Electric, and Nilfisk of America. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Carlisle Country Club. Louis was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church where he was involved with St. Lukes Ministry and the Heritage Club.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Marie Lamay Pinto of Carlisle; four children, M. Suzanne Feinberg (and husband, Richard) of Havre De Grace, MD; Michael L. Pinto (and wife, Sarah) of Ocean City, NJ; Kathleen M. Nichols (and husband, James) of Beesleys Point, NJ; Matthew J. Pinto (and wife, Mily) of Hilton Head Island, SC; seven grandchildren, Daniel Feinberg, Rachel Feinberg, Robyn Nichols, Jamie Nichols, Stephanie Nichols, Michael C. Pinto, and Jean Foissac Pinto; one brother, Robert L. Pinto (and wife, Kate) of Media; and one brother-in-law, Richard Veit of Media; and eight Lamay family brothers and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by one sister, Florence Veit.
Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, May 10, 2013 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Drive, Carlisle with Rev. William C. Forrey as celebrant. Mass will be followed by a time of visitation at the church.
