Lori Ann Strangarity, age 56, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 15, 2017 at her home.
She was born July 25, 1961 to the late Nicholas John and Mary Louise (Soliday) Strangarity, of Lebanon, PA.
Lori was a partner with the Ida B. Brochey Commercial Cleaning Co. of Carlisle, PA. She was a graduate of Lebanon Catholic H.S., Class of 1979 where she played on the girls’ basketball team. Lori and her partner Ida were part of the Sun Motor Car Team who achieved “The Best of the Best” Award for Dealerships for 9 consecutive years throughout the United States. Lori enjoyed the outdoors, the beach, and especially Drum Circle in Englewood, FL. Family meant the most to Lori; her mother, brothers, sister, and especially her best friend Ida.
Lori is survived by her mother, Mary Louise (Soliday) Strangarity of Lebanon; her best friend of 31 years, Ida B. Brochey, of Carlisle; 2 brothers, Nicholas J. Strangarity, Jr. (and wife Susan) of Newmanstown, and Michael F. Strangarity of Lebanon; 1 sister, Abbie L. Strangarity of Lebanon, and 3 nephews, Johnathan, Daniel, and Andrew. She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Cemetery. There will be a viewing on Wednesday at the funeral home from 12:30 pm until the time of the service.
