Linda Rinker 

Linda Rinker, age 71, of Carlisle, died Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Claremont Nursing & Rehab Center.

Born in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Beatrice (Fraker) Raudabaugh and the wife of 50 years to David Rinker, Jr.

Linda, in her younger days, worked with her father, who owned his own lawn mowing business, mowing grass and caring for lawns. She later worked as a receptionist for 23 years for Allen Distribution, retiring in 2016.

In her spare time, Linda liked to bake and go to festivals and Fireman Fairs, especially the Shippensburg Fair. She thoroughly enjoyed watching her grandson showing cows and other livestock. She also enjoyed snowmobiling, scrapbooking, decorating cakes and, when she was younger, riding motorcycles.

Linda liked to talk to people and would talk to anyone and everyone. She also enjoyed doing whatever Sonya was involved with on Saturdays.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter: Sonya Henisee, her husband, Tom, of Carlisle and her grandson: Lane.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing from 6 to 8 pm Monday, January 29, 2024 and again from 10 to 11 am Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., followed by her funeral service at 11 am. Interment will follow the service at Cumberland Valley Memorial Garden, Carlisle.
