Linda M. Shaw

Linda M. Shaw, age 45, of Carlisle, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
She was born on February 20, 1973 in York, PA to the late Michael and Linda L. (Keener) Thompson.
Linda was a hostess at Horner’s Corner BBQ & Grill Restaurant in Carlisle, and she worked for Carlisle Events also as a hostess. She was a “super mom,” always making sure everyone was taken care of, not only her family, but all her children’s friends. She was very much a “people person” with everyone she worked with or met, and Linda was the “ice breaker” for her husband Richard. She was known to draw the affection out of everyone she met. She always had a smile on her face. Linda always enjoyed all of the pets that they would bring into their home.
She is survived by: her husband of twenty-two years, Richard D. “Rick” Shaw; three daughters, Shiana and Erika Shaw of Carlisle, Sarah Shaw of Newville; two brothers, Gary Keener of Carlisle, and Leroy Keener of York; and two grandchildren, Lori Katlyn Manning Shaw, and Jordan Jay Manning.
Services will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11:00 am at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle, PA. There will be a viewing on Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:00 am. Interment will be at the Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Speranza Animal Rescue, 1216 Brandt Rd., Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
