Linda Jean Russell

Linda Jean McClintock Russell, 66, of Carlisle, died Friday, November 29, 2013 at Messiah Lifeways, Mechanicsburg.
Born November 17, 1947 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Esther Baker McClintock.
She was a graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College with a Culinary Art and Business Degree. Linda was the owner of the former Jeanie's Restaurant, Carlisle. She was a Girl Scout leader for over thirty-seven years. Linda was a member of the Lighthouse Church of God, Carlisle. Jean and Richard were former youth leaders at the Carlisle Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of forty-nine years, Richard L. Russell; two daughters, Kim L. Black (and husband, Alan) of Aspers and Lisa R. Johnston (and husband, Larry) of Shippensburg; one son, Rick L. Russell (and wife, Heather) of Duncannon; two brothers, Michael McClintock of Carlisle and Stephen McClintock (and wife, Louise) of Carlisle; one sister Roxie Lybrand of Mechanicsburg; and eight grandchildren: Morgan and Lauren Johnston, Jacob Black, Alyssa Stafford, Amanda Yanc, Luther, Kyle and Kirsten Snell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Cynthia Manion and a sister-in-law, Debbie McClintock.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Pastor Debbie Bentch officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle.
