Lillian Romaine Walters

Lillian Romaine Rotz Walters, 94, died February 22, 2025, in WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital after a brief illness. Lillian lived in Carlisle for most of her life, although she was a resident of Heritage Hills Retirement Community in Greencastle, PA for the past few years.

Lillian was born on April 6, 1930, in Guilford Township, Franklin County to J. Frank and Bernice Leona Wagner Rotz. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Merle S. Walters, whom she married July 2, 1949 and who died in 2008. She was also preceded in death by her four siblings: brothers Richard C. Rotz and Kenneth L. Rotz; and sisters, Hazel C. Deavor and Janet L. Smith. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mrs. Barbara A. Rotz of Chambersburg and three generations of nieces and nephews. All will miss her sunny smile and keen sense of humor.

The interment will be at Westminster Cemetery in Carlisle at the convenience of her family.
