Leslie Cay Masland

Leslie C. Masland, age 63, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 at her home.
She was born June 9, 1954 in Carlisle to Isabel C. (Carpenter) Masland of Lemoyne and the late Daniel L. Masland.
Leslie had a passion for reading and in her youth loved hiking the scenic trails of Cumberland County. She had a gifted voice and sang with the chorus and in Musicals at Camp Hill High School where she graduated in 1972. After graduating from Eckerd College in St Petersburg Florida in 1976, she worked for the Federal Government. She loved deserted beaches and cherished her memories of vacations with the family at Captiva Island in Florida.
In addition to her mother, Leslie is survived by: a sister, Carol M. (husband Mark G.) Gleeson of Manheim, PA; sister-in-law, Beth Masland of Mechanicsburg; a nephew, Christopher Gleeson; and three nieces, Darby Masland, Danielle Masland and Katie Gleeson. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, John C. Masland.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family at the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 pm. until the time of the services.
