Leroy Harold Freeman

Leroy Harold Freeman, age 67, of Carlisle, PA went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born July 5, 1954, in Carlisle to the late Harold L. and Helen (Stum) Freeman.
Leroy will be remembered by many for his long career with Troy Laundry and Dry Cleaning in Carlisle where he worked for 28 years from age 15 until the company closed in 1997. He also was previously employed with the former Nell’s Supermarket in Carlisle. Leroy also was involved for over 20 years with Teener Baseball as a coach, president and grounds keeper.
Leroy enjoyed camping with the family and watching little league baseball and the Philadelphia Phillies. His greatest joy was spoiling his grandson Kyler and would especially look forward to watching cartoons with him.
Leroy is survived by his wife Vickey L. (Minich) Freeman; son Scott and his wife Krissy Freeman; stepson Shawn and his wife Tammy Brickner; stepdaughter Tonia Brickner and her partner Ginger and grandson Kyler.
At the request of Leroy, no services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Middleton Fire Company, 2061 Spring Road, Carlisle, PA 17013
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road., Carlisle, PA 17013.
