Leonard W. Brunski

Leonard W. Brunski, age 90, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle.
He was born July 3, 1926 in Sheatown, PA to the late Peter W. and Anna F. (Washcalis) Brunski.
Leonard earned an Associate's degree from Williamsport Technical Institute and honorably served his country during World War II in the Army Air Force. He retired from Chromalloy, Harrisburg, which was formerly known as TRW, after 19 years. He had previously worked as an engineer for C.H. Masland & Sons. Leonard was a past Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
He is survived by: his wife of 68 years, Olga C. (Kravitz) Brunski of Carlisle; two sons, Paul L. (and wife Mary) Brunski of Mt. Holly Springs and John P. (and Sassha Jeffries) Brunski of Frederick, MD; two daughters, Linda M. Brunski of Carlisle and Eileen T. (and husband W. Ray, Jr.) Noss of Enola; a sister, Florence Muscillo of Ossining, NY; a brother, Daniel (and wife Lee) Brunski of New Ringgold, PA; and three grandchildren, Peter, Sarah and Asher. In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by three brothers Peter, Albert and Raymond Brunski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Drive, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Don Bender as Celebrant. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. There will be a viewing at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
