Lenore Armold

Lenore “Sis” L. Armold, 72, of Carlisle died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born March 17, 1938, in Carlisle, the daughter of the late Leslie L. and Mary Linn Lewis.
Lenore was a 1956 graduate of Carlisle High School. She retired from Dickinson College after 34 years in food service.
Surviving are her husband of many years, William E. Armold Sr.; three sons, William E. Armold Jr., James B. Armold and his wife Sondra, and David A. Armold and his fiancée Pamela Killinger, all of Carlisle; a daughter, Deborah A. Weibley and her husband Larry of Carlisle; three brothers, Leroy Lewis and his wife Virginia, Paul Lewis and his wife Judy, and John Lewis and his wife Vonnie, all of Carlisle; three sisters, Helen Rotz of Carlisle, Ann Norton and her husband Clifford of Richmond, Va., and Pauline Bowermaster and her husband Forest of Carlisle; six grandsons; four granddaughters; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Edward L. Armold.
Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, Nov. 4, at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Karen Hamm officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service in the funeral home.
