Lee E. "Punkin" Zeigler, Jr.

Lee E. “Punkin” Zeigler, Jr., 79, of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at his home while surrounded by his loving family.
He was born July 7, 1941 in Carlisle to the late Lee E. and Elizabeth J. (Kirk) Zeigler.
Lee graduated from East Pennsboro High School in the class of 1959. He honorably served his country in the US Navy during the war in Vietnam from 1965 – 1967. Lee was a member of the Mechanicsburg Club, VFW Post 6771, and American Legion Post 109. He was a pool shark and could often be found on a golf course. Lee loved attending sporting events his grandsons participated in to show his support. He worked in paint sales for PPG for 18 years before continuing his career with TNEMEC, selling heavy duty coatings in the North East Region of the country for 22 years before he retired.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Connie L. Zeigler of Mechanicsburg; one daughter, Robin (husband Larry) Zinn of Shippensburg; one son, Jeffrey (wife Rebecca) Zeigler of Lemoyne; three grandsons, Evan, Keegan, and Kyle Zeigler; one brother, Michael Zeigler (companion Donna) of Bangor; one sister, Kathryn Zeigler of Enola; and his canine companion, Zoe. In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sara Restagno and his nephew, Michael Zeigler.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Waggoners United Methodist Church Cemetery. The service may be viewed by visiting www.youtube.com and searching for Lee Zeigler Service Hoffman at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday or later.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013.
