Larry D. Peirce

Lawrence “Larry” D. Peirce, 66, of Harrisburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Harrisburg.

He was born July 23, 1953 to the late Charles and B. Wyllene (Joyner) Peirce.

Larry was a graduate of William Penn High School and received an Associates in Arts from Harrisburg Area Community College and a graduate of the Pennsylvania State Police Academy. He was formerly a police sergeant with Marysville Police Department and worked as an orderly for Polyclinic and Harrisburg hospitals.

Larry is survived by his wife, Denise (Timmins); his children, Michelle Peirce (Glenn Butts) of Harrisburg and Kyle Peirce (Michelle Munger) of Frederick, MD; and grandchildren, Nolan, Rylie and Avery Peirce. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Louise Caparella.

Private Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle.
