Kurt D. Rudd

Kurt D. Rudd, 46, of Carlisle, went to his home over there, after a six year hard fought battle with lupus, Monday, June 4, 2012.
Born March 9, 1966 in Erie.
He was a fun loving, energetic man who dearly loved his family and friends.
Surviving are his father, Jerry L. Rudd (and his wife, Sally) of Erie; his mother Judith A. Stunder Rudd of Carlisle; his companion of 18 years, Sherry Bouder of Carlisle; two sons, Austin Rudd and Nash Rudd; three sisters, Cynthia Murtoff of Carlisle, Cathy Greene of Carlisle, and Cheryl Rudd of Mifflinburg; two brothers, Kenneth Rudd of Boiling Springs and Kevin Rudd (and wife Val) of Boiling Springs; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by one brother, Keith Rudd and one nephew, Phillip Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Chuck Kish officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Newville. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2012 and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
