Krista L. Geyer

Krista L. (Horn) Geyer, 36, of Carlisle went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2021. She is survived by her loving husband, Jeramiah Geyer, and her beautiful daughter, Alyssa. In addition, she is survived by her mother, Linda Horn of Carlisle, brother Barry Horn Jr. of Enola, and nephew Ari. She was preceded in death by her father, Barry Horn in 2006.

Krista was a 2003 graduate from Cumberland Valley High School, earned an associate's degree in Criminal Justice from HACC in 2005, and held a certificate in medical coding and billing. She was also one of the first underage buyers in PA for the liquor control board and received recognition from former Governor Ed Rendell.

Krista was a wonderful stay-at-home mom who enjoyed every moment of raising her “sweet pea”, Alyssa. She loved camping, fishing, and planning big parties for family and friends. Toward the end, her passion was putting together puzzles with her mother and husband. Her last wish was to see the ocean and thanks to the kindness of friends, she was able to spend a long weekend with her family in Ocean City.

The family would like to thank all the healthcare workers at Johns Hopkins, Carlisle Cancer Center, Hospice, dear friends, and everyone who cared and loved her through this difficult time. She is resting in peace now with her father and will remain our guardian angel in heaven.

At her request, there is to be no viewing. Burial will be at the convenience of the family with a celebration of life announced at a later date.
