Kim C. Raraigh, age 66, of Carlisle, passed away unexpectedly on April 15, 2017.
He was born April 5, 1951 in Kittanning, PA.
Kim retired after 30 years of service at PPG. He was formerly employed by Peterman’s Power Equipment, R&W New Holland and North Middleton Parks. He was a 1969 graduate of Kittanning High School. Kim loved hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends. Kim truly loved baseball and at one time even tried out for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was a former member of Waggoner’s United Methodist Church and currently a member of Opossum Hill Union Church.
He is survived by: his wife of 40 years, Cathy (Heishman) Raraigh of Carlisle; son, Duff Raraigh of Carlisle; his in-laws, Don and JoAnn Heishman of Carlisle; sisters-in-law, Cindy (and husband Chuck) Bear and Caryn (and husband Barry) Wilson, all of Carlisle; nieces and nephews, Corey (and wife Megan) Bear, Craig (and wife Christa) Bear, Carly (and husband Wes) Snider, Caity (and husband Travis) Ruhl and Joey, Jake and Jarrett Wilson; great-nieces and nephews, Alexis and Nathan Bear, Aaron, Benjamin, Colston and Donovan Bear, Colton and Riley Snider and Charlee and Emily Wilson; and his best friends, Cloyd and Deb Smith.
A Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Hoffman Funeral Home & crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Pastor Randall L. Zook officiating. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Opossum Hill Union Church, 601 Opossum Lake Road, Carlisle, PA 17015.
