Kevin Mitchell Newhouse

Kevin Mitchell Newhouse, 50, of Landisburg, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at his residence.

He was born December 15, 1969 in Carlisle to Kenneth and Florence (Kazor) Newhouse.

Kevin was a 1987 graduate of Carlisle High School. He was employed as a sales associate at Walmart, where he was known as a very hard worker. Kevin enjoyed collecting antiques and coins and playing guitar. He was always happy and able to lift everyone’s spirits around him by providing a good laugh.

In addition to his parents, Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Joan (Brown - Martin) of Landisburg; two step-children, Daniel Martin of Washington, DC and Benjamin Martin of Harrisburg; brother, Ed Newhouse of Carlisle; sister, Michelle Russell (husband Kurt) of Shippensburg; nephew Kurt Russell, Jr. of Carlisle; uncles, John and Mike Kazor and several cousins. He was preceded in death by four grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 12:30 PM with Rev. Daniel Mikesell officiating. A viewing will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of the service.
