Kevin John Cooney

Kevin John Cooney Age 69 passed away on February 28, 2023 in Carlisle, PA. He was born January 6,

1954 in Mineola, NY son of the late Henry M. and Catherine (O’Brien) Cooney.

Kevin served our Country Honorably in the US Navy where he served on the US Forrestal(CV 59) and

worked in the control tower of an Aircraft Carrier and took photographs of the jets take off and

landings to help others grade the pilots performance. He was a proud Irish, proud New Yorker, and a

fan of New York sports.

Kevin will be fondly missed by his family and friends and the times they shared together.

Graveside Services with Military Honors for Kevin will be held on April 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville PA.
