Kennwood W. Losh, Sr., 71, of Boiling Springs, died Thursday, June 14, 2012 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born March 8, 1941 in Newville, he was a son of the late Henry S. and Rhodella A. Moffitt Losh.
He was owner and operator of the former Ken’s Garage, Newville and Safeway Cab’s, Carlisle; then, later worked for Shaffer Trucking, Mechanicsburg until he became disabled. He loved to walk around the Boiling Springs Lake and feed the ducks with his grandchildren, Madeline and Tyler.
Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Susan K. Losh of Boiling Springs; six children, Amanda S. Goodwin (and husband, Daniel) of Carlisle, Wayne M. Losh, Sr. of Carlisle, Kathy J. Smith of Carlisle, Kennwood W. Losh, Jr. of Rutland, VT, Linda K. Trolinger of Tennessee, and Kenneth W. Losh (and wife, Debra) of Lake Meade; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his step-brother, John Moffitt.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Scott Hocker and Rev. Amy Moreno co-officiating. Burial will be in Reibers Cemetery, Perry County. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2012 and from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
