Kenneth Sterner

Kenneth Edgar Sterner, 88, passed away on October 24, 2024, in Mechanicsburg, PA. Born on May 17, 1936, Kenneth dedicated his life to his family and his country, embodying a strong work ethic and a deep commitment to his loved ones.

Kenneth proudly served in the Army before embarking on a distinguished career in civil service, initially with the Army in Philadelphia, PA and subsequently with the Navy in Willow Grove, PA and Mechanicsburg, PA.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Camp Hill, where he found spiritual solace and community.

Kenneth was a beloved family man, survived by his wife, Jean Sterner; his sons, Brad and Jeff Sterner; his daughter, Pam Davenport; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mabel and Glenn Sterner; an infant brother; two sisters; and a grandson.

At Kenneth's request, no funeral services will be held. His life was marked by his unwavering love for his family, his commitment to his country and his faith. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved him.
