Kayla Sheller

Kayla M. Sheller, 27, of Carlisle, unexpectedly passed away Saturday, February 4th, 2023 at her home in Dillsburg.

Born June 13, 1995 in Carlisle, Kayla is preceded in death by her grandfather, Larry (Buck) Sheller and grandparents, John & Joyce Peffer.

Survived by her son, Kayden Werner and his father, Erik Werner, mother, Kristen (Peffer) Taylor and step father, Robert Taylor, father, Larry Sheller, grandmother, Lorraine Sheller and sisters, Danielle (Jared) and Chastity (Ed), 5 nieces and 1 nephew as well as a large family of aunts, uncles and cousins of whom she was very close to.

Kayla was ambitious, outgoing, talented and an artist. She had a passion for nature and spending time with her son, Kayden, outdoors and exploring. Kayla was a very hard worker. She started working at the young age of 14, managing McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, working at Aldi and recently working as an Administrative Technician for two judges in the Cumberland County Courthouse. Kayla was looking forward to continuing her career and actively pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice.

To know Kayla was to love her kind and compassionate soul. She will always be in our hearts and minds.

Friends and family are invited to a viewing 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM, followed by a short service on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road Carlisle, PA. Immediately following the service, all are invited to join us for a meal at the American Legion Post 101, 142 N Hanover St, Carlisle, PA 17013.
