Kaye Williams

Kaye Marie Williams, 89, 0f Carlisle, died Friday, February 14, 2025 at her residence.

Born in Williamstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Alma (Brown) Michaels and the wife of 60 years to Gilbert J. Williams, who passed away in December of 2023.

Kaye started her work life in a garment factory but mainly worked for various department stores and American Greetings restocking greeting cards. She spent most of her life joyfully raising her family as a wonderful mother, grandmother and great great grandmother.

She was a faithful member of Bethel Assembly of God Church in Carlisle.

Kaye is survived by her three daughters: Marie Cook, her husband, Russ, of Carlisle, Kathy Troup, her husband, Brian, of Williamstown and Lisa Schoenly, her husband, Brett, of Emmaus; her four granddaughters; her three great grandsons as well as her sister: Carol Deiter, of Williamstown. 

Kaye was preceded in death by her grandson: Troy Stover and siblings: Bill Michaels, Marlin Michaels, Clair Michaels, Ralph Michaels, Alvin Michaels and Linda Michaels Challenger.  

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 1:30 pm Friday, February 21, 2025, at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, where the family will greet guests after 12:30 pm prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
