Kathy L. Snyder

Kathy L. Snyder, 62, of Carlisle died Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
She was born December 5, 1951 in Camp Hill to the late Lloyd and Doris (Simmons) Weaver.
Kathy was a member of the North Middleton Fire Company where she served as Assistant Fire Chief and currently as Secretary and also served as an EMT with the fire company. She was in charge of the fire company bingo. Kathy sang for the gospel group His Carpenters. She was a member of the Shiremanstown Church of God. She liked to go hunting and fishing and loved the outdoors. She was an avid bowler and loved farming. She liked mowing grass. She loved her cats and playing bingo.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Kenneth L. Snyder of Carlisle, a brother Stephen Weaver of York, her aunt and uncle, June & Ron Sims of Shiremanstown, cousins Jeff Sims and Kelly Frear. She is also survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Larry & Diane Snyder of Carlisle, sisters-in-law Sandy Snyder and Kim Snyder all of Carlisle. There are also many nieces and nephews; Lori Eckenroad (and husband Alan) of Lock Haven, Stacy Stum (and husband Dennis) of Carlisle, Duane Snyder (and wife Joy) of Carlisle, Angie Smith (and husband Terry) of Shippensburg, Jennifer Tran (and husband Phong) of Mt. Holly Springs.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 12:00 noon at the North Middleton Fire Company, 310 North Middleton Road, Carlisle 17013 with Pastor Alan Eckenroad officiating.
