Kathryn L. Yoder, age 93, formerly of Wellsville, PA died Saturday, June 30, 2018 in Mt. Holly Springs with her loving family at her side.
She was born in Harrisburg, PA on October 4, 1924 to the late William McKinley and Caroline McCauly Haines and was the widow of Charles Yoder.
Kathryn retired from the former Appleton Press in Camp Hill. She was a member of Bible Way Hibner Memorial Church of God in Christ, Carlisle. She was a social member of the Goldsboro VFW. Kathryn enjoyed dancing, bowling, casinos, bingo, and going to church with her granddaughter.
She is survived by: three brothers, Donald and James Haines of New Cumberland, William Haines of Lewisberry; seven sisters, Ethel Brooks, Gladys Jacobs, Florence Rakocy, all of New Cumberland, Edith Smith of Dallastown, Dorothy Karns of Lewisberry, Emma Lester of NY, Peggy Siler of Zimbabwe, Africa; two granddaughters, Billie Jo Miller and Bobbie Smoker, both of Mt. Holly Springs; three great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two daughters, Beatrice Miller, and Cora Fetrow, two brothers, Homer and Harry Haines, and two sisters, Thelma Everhart, and Betty Snavely.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11:00 am at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle, PA with the Elder James E. Woodall officiating. Interment will be in the Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill. There will be a viewing on Saturday at the funeral home from 9:30 am until the time of services.
