Kathryn B. Magill

Kathryn B. Magill, 97, of Carlisle, died Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Cumberland Crossings Retirement Community, Carlisle.
Born July 8, 1916 in Loysville, PA she was a daughter of the late Dr. Hugh R. and Marion L. Flickinger Magill.
She was a graduate of Wilson College, Class of 1938. She retired as a legal secretary from Hale and Dorr Law Firm, Boston, MA. Kathryn was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, Carlisle. She enjoy photography, reading, traveling, and a good conversation.
Surviving are one sister, Marion L. Foreman of Carlisle; one brother, Joseph B. Magill of Keller, TX; six nieces: Susan Viney, Catherine Hoffman, Susan Farna, Joan Smith, Nannce McCune, and Laura Magill; and five nephews: Robert Magill, Robert Foreman, Joseph Magill, William Magill, and Charles Magill. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Hugh R., Jr. and William H. Magill and one niece, Carol Randall.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Cumberland Crossings, Davis Dining Room, 1 Longsdorf Way, Carlisle with Rev. Judy Strayer officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
