Kathleen M. Petty

Kathleen M. Petty, age 68, of Newville, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017 at her home.
She was born March 6, 1949 in Westford, MA to the late Nicholas and Margaret (Leonard) Sudac.
Kathy had formerly been employed at Cumberland Crossings as an aquatic aerobics instructor. She was a musician at heart and played the saxophone with three organizations in the Carlisle area. She was also an avid reader. Kathy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mechanicsburg. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughter, son-in-law and her church family.
She is survived by: her husband of 43 years, Thomas C. Petty, Jr. of Newville; a daughter, Shannon M. (husband Guy) Batchlor of Carlisle; and a son, Thomas C. Petty III of New Cumberland.
In accordance with Kathy’s wishes, there will not be any services or visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 216 Skyline Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
