Kathleen A. Mock, 78, of Carlisle, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at her home, with her family at her side.
Born November 24, 1933 in Staten Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late Raymond & Catherine Rafferty Wolf and the widow of Colonel Alfred J. Mock, US Army, Retired.
She graduated from the College of Mount Saint Vincent, New York City with a Bachelors Degree, and she was a substitute teacher in the Carlisle School District. Kathleen served as a Eucharistic Minister at the Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Community, Carlisle Barracks, and volunteered at the Carlisle Barracks Thrift Shop and the Samaritan Fellowship. She was a member of the Elks BPO Lodge 578, Carlisle.
Surviving are two sons, Frederick C. Mock (and wife, Rebecca) of Starkville, MS and Andrew J. Mock of Jersey City, NJ; and one grandson, Thomas A. Mock, Southaven, MS. She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Wolf.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 25, 2012 at Mary Queen of Peace Chapel, Carlisle Barracks with CH (Col) Gregory J. D’Emma as celebrant. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Fellowship, 99 Mooreland Avenue, PO Box 495, Carlisle, PA 17013.
