Kathleen A. Mcdilda

Kathleen A. Beck McDilda, 68, of Boiling Springs died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the Harrisburg Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Born December 30, 1944 in Altoona, she was a daughter of the late William K. Beck Sr. (former Cumberland County Sheriff) and Anna M. Spiridiglozzi Beck.
She retired from Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as a medical secretary. She enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing, and especially the time she spent with her loving family and her cat "Lucky".
Surviving are her husband of twenty-five years, Edwin B. McDilda, Sr. of Boiling Springs; two daughters, Kym A. Gillaugh (and husband, Scott) of Mt. Holly Springs and Karyn L. Reynolds of Carlisle; one step-son, Edwin B. McDilda, Jr. (and wife Lynn) of Carlisle; two step-daughters, Lori A. Myers (and husband, Glenn) of Carlisle and Theresa L. Armolt of Shippensburg; one brother, William K. Beck, Jr. (and wife, Joan) of Mechanicsburg; two sisters, Charlene M. Shearer (and husband, Mervin) of Mechanicsburg, and Cynthia Beck of Carlisle; four grandchildren, Preston S Gillaugh, Chaseton Gillaugh, Anne-Marie Reynolds, Kyle Hockenberry and her special friend, Dianna Papalazaros; five step-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by son, Robert D. Hockenberry, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Mira Hewlett officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
