Katherine A. Horner

Kathy A. Horner, age 54, of Carlisle, PA died on Sunday, February 28, 2021 in the Penn State Health Holy Spirit Hospital Camp Hill, PA.
She was born on February 28, 1967 in Bellefonte, PA to the late William Alan Cox and Claire Norton Cox of State College, PA.
Kathy and her husband Brian were the owners of Horner’s Corner BBQ on Spring Road, Carlisle, PA. She was a member and former prims teacher at Bethel Assembly of God Church in Carlisle. She was a graduate of State College High School Class of 1985.
She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Brian O. Horner of Carlisle, her mother Claire N. Cox of State College, sister, Karen M. Rhoads (husband Joseph) Pine Grove Mills, PA, two brothers, David A. Cox (wife Kelli), Hicksville, Ohio, Scott A. Cox (wife Dawn) Ardmore, PA and eleven nieces, nephews and her many four legged family members.
There will be a walk-through viewing on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 6:30 PM till 8:30 PM in the Bethel Assembly of God Church, 1412 Holly Pike Carlisle, PA. Services will be private and held at the convenience of her family. Social distancing and mask are required by mandate by Gov. Tom Wolf.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Kathy’s name may be made to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory to help the family defray medical costs and funeral expenses.
