Karen R. Wright

Karen R. Wright, age 64, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA with her loving family by her side.
She was born on July 6, 1951 in Media, PA to the late James T. Richards and June L. Iddings.
Karen was a Financial Analyst for F.M.W.R. at the Carlisle Barracks and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi. She was an avid acrylics painter and enjoyed the time she spent with her family especially her four grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, John C. Wright of Carlisle; two sons, Gavin M. Harvey and Evan S. Wright, both of Carlisle; a daughter, Bree A. (and husband Justin) Hovetter of Carlisle; a sister, Pamela R. (and husband William) Snell of Lancaster; a brother, Mark E. (and wife Elizabeth) Maurer of Boiling Springs; and four grandchildren, Mickaela, Trinity, Emersen and Booker.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Mira A. Hewlett officiating. Burial will be at Waggoners United Methodist Church Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services.
