Judy A. Waggoner

Judy Waggoner, 74, of Newville, died Monday, August 12, 2024 at Forest Park Nursing & Rehab.

Born in Boiling Springs, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Evelyn (Sheriff) Barrick and the wife of 54 years to Robert V. Waggoner.

Judy worked for over 20 years as a Surgical Counselor for Kilmore Associates. She enjoyed quilting, camping and riding her 4-wheeler. She was also an active member of Middlesex United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir.

In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by her children: Troy Waggoner, of Newville, Tina Smith, her husband, Jason, of Mechanicsburg, Tony Waggoner, his wife, Ellen, of Chambersburg; her nine grandchildren as well as her brother: Randy Barrick, his wife, Betty and her sister: Vera Egolf, her husband, Robert, all of Carlisle.

Judy was preceded in death by her brother: Terry Barrick and her sisters: Kay Piper and Verna Dagan.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 11:00 am Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, where the family will greet guests after 10:00 am. Interment will follow the service in Letort Cemetery, Carlisle. A viewing will also be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, August 14, at the funeral home.
