Judy Mulderig

Judy E. Mulderig, 72, of Lakewood, New Jersey, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015.
Judy was born in Simpson, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Helen Leschinski Rames and was the widow of the late Robert J. Mulderig who passed away on August 21, 2013.
After graduating from Sell High School in 1960, she earned her teaching degree from East Stroudsburg University. Judy had a lengthy teaching career, teaching in Germany, Georgia, Texas, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She taught primarily third grade and was beloved by her students. Even after her retirement, she would volunteer her time at her former school, Mooreland Elementary School. Judy was an avid reader and enjoyed her book club. She was a great crossword player. She loved to travel, host dinner parties and spend time with her family. Most of all, she enjoyed playing scrabble.
Judy's survivors include her daughter, Diana Mulderig (and her husband, James Golden and their four children, Jimmy, Kelly, Michael and Matthew) of Brick, NJ; and daughter, Chloe Mulderig of Boston, MA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Drive, Carlisle, PA with the Very Rev. William C. Forrey as Celebrant. Viewings will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle.
